Issue Description

StorageGRID 11.5.0.4 through 11.5.0.6 releases with 15 or more nodes may experience a higher rate of false positive Object Lost alarms. The false positive alarms over time can impede the diagnosis or repair of actual lost object events.

StorageGRID reports an Object Lost Alert or LOST (Lost Objects alarm), resulting in an LSTOBJ AutoSupport case.
The Lost Objects only show meta-data, but no locations. As explained in this KB: How to investigate StorageGRID lost objects (LSTOBJ)

Workaround

There is no workaround for this issue. As a result, the solution must be followed to reduce the chances of false positives.

Solution

For all StorageGRID environments running 11.5.0.6 or earlier, it is recommended to upgrade to StorageGRID 11.5.0.7, or StorageGRID 11.6.0.1 or later.
